PORTA SPORTS BOOSTERS
PORTA Sports Boosters help raise money to support all PORTA sports teams. Everyone is invited to join us on the first Wednesday of each month in the commons area of PORTA Jr./Sr. High School. Our meetings begin at 6:00 p.m.
The purpose of the Petersburg Sports Boosters is to promote and secure a stable future for all Petersburg PORTA athletics by raising funds to provide support for the sports programs beyond what the district provides.
All parents of PORTA student/athletes are invited to become Booster members. Please contact any member of the boosters or sign up during participating sporting events.
Boosters has purchased new team uniforms, special equipment for the team, helped to pay for teams to attend sport camps, provided meals, and purchased support equipment for the general athletics program. All PORTA sports are eligible to receive assistance from the Sports Boosters.

Volunteers Needed!
We need your help to work concessions. Volunteer a few hours of your time this season and show the athletes you care! Contact any Booster officer to sign up or for more information. It is up to the coaches and parents of each sport to operate the concession stand if they want it open during their events.
To obtain directions to any away sporting contest go to IHSA,click on school directory, find the desired school and you can access directions from Petersburg to that school, and then click on school directory and choose the appropriate school and a direction map will be displayed.
