2009 School Spelling Bee

Congratulations to Kristen Ed on being the PORTA 2010 Spelling Bee Winner!  

The PORTA Spelling Bee was held on Wednesday, February 17 at Central School.  The spelling bee is open to students in fifth through eighth grades.  

The following students participated in this year's bee: Megan Price, Scott Boehm, Holly Piepenburg, Maria Brauer, Breanne Ed, Kendra Kolb, Kaytlyn Crain, Keely Miller, Nic Sinclair, Madison Kuehl, Katie Conklin, Zach Rebbe, Destiny Kaiser, Faith Phillips, Max Muller, Kobe Wheaton, Sammi Nelson, Becky Murphy, Ava Umbach, Keeley Logsdon, Madi Dennis, Shannon Gaston, Victoria Toyne, Colette Gaston, Amanda Lopetrone, Kristen Ed, Adrienne Brauer, and Ross Reynolds.  Natasha Garst was the Spelling Bee sponsor.  

Kristen Ed was the final winner and will proceed to the Regional Spelling Bee in Springfield on Saturday, March 13.  We wish her the best of luck!!
