Mrs. Lantz
English 2 Teacher

Mrs. Rachel Lantz is an English teacher at PORTA High School, and has been for 2 years. She graduated from Carthage College in Kenasha, Wisconsin with a BA with a Major English and a Minor in Secondary Education.
Before coming to PORTA, she taught in Zion,
Illinois for 4 years as a 7th and 8th grade Language Arts teacher.
She has also worked as a cashier at Carson Pirie Scott, a
department store. She worked there from 1997-2004.
Her personal philosophy is to do what you
want, and money is secondary. From her class you can expect tons of
reading, a fair amount of writing and an acceptable homework
load.
Outside of teaching, Mrs. Lantz loves to
attend the school’s extra-curricular activities. Some of Mrs.
