Welcome to 6C

Hi and welcome to the 6th grade. My name is Renee Carter and I teach 6th grade Reading and Social Studies. I will be having a baby in late October of this year and will be gone through most of the second quarter. I will return to school after the winter break. Mrs. Liz Sinclair will be substituting my maternity leave. She will be available to help you at the same times and places as I am, while she is here filling in.
Students will be getting used to a new schedule this year. They will be going to Mr. Hurie for Math, Mrs. Greger for English, Mrs. Ames for Science, and myself, Mrs. Carter, for Reading. Each teacher will teach Social Studies to their own homeroom class.
