Help Your Child Become a Better Reader

Is your child reading below grade level?  If so, there is plenty you can do to help your child.

1.      First off, make reading a fun experience, not a punishment. Get excited over the books your child is choosing, and be supportive.

2.      Find time to read to your child.  No matter the age, your child will benefit from listening to you read interesting books or magazines.

3.      Take your child to the library or book store regularly.  Let him/her browse and look at different levels of books.
