About Mrs. Lantz

I am Mrs. Lantz, and my husband and I recently relocated from the greater Chicagoland area. This is my first year in the PORTA school district, and my responsibilities include teaching English II and Composition II/Novels. I spent the last four years teaching 7th and 8th grade Language Arts at a junior high in Zion, IL. Prior to that, I earned my BA in English from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. In addition to middle school and high school English, I am also qualified to teach middle school Social Studies.
When I'm not teaching or planning, I enjoy reading, working crossword and number puzzles, watching baseball games, and playing with my three cats: Hermione, Freyja, and Neko.
