Field Day Fun Day teams need to be given to Mrs. Bradley by Wednesday. Teams of 8 - no more than 4 boys. You will be assigned to a team if you don't turn one in. If you will not be here Tuesday, do not sign up for a team. See Mrs. Bradley in PE or email her the list.
Next Tuesday, May 31st, is an attendance day, and we are planning a Fun Day for junior high students! We’ll have games, sack lunches, Kona Ice and a movie!
8th Grade Celebration of Excellence will be held this Thursday, May 26th at 7:00. This event will be held in the auditorium. Awards will be presented, and we will also have a class slideshow. If you have not yet submitted your pictures for the slideshow and still want to do so, please contact Mrs. McMahan asap. All 8th graders are encouraged to attend, but attendance is not required.
All books are due back to the library. Please return them as soon as possible.
8th grade parents will be hosting a celebration party for all 8th graders following recognition on Thursday, May 26th. Recognition is scheduled for 7pm with the celebration party immediately following in the high school commons until 10pm. Refreshments, music and activities will be provided.

ATTENTION- LUNCH ACCOUNTS: It’s getting close to the end of this school year. All lunch accounts need to be paid in full before you leave for the summer!!!! NO MORE CHARGING WILL BE ALLOWED! All breakfast and lunches are still free, however extra entrees, juice and milk cost!!
Homework help this week: Tuesday with Mrs. Reichart in the library until 4;15.
Detentions this week will be with Mrs. Matheny in the Ag Room.
Students, Dress code infractions are on the rise, especially hats/hoods and pajama pants. As a reminder, for dress code infractions, you will receive one warning, for a second offense 3 points will be issued. A third offense results in an additional 3 points and a detention. In all cases, you must change to appropriate attire or you will be considered insubordinate, which will have additional disciplinary consequences. The dress code begins on page 3 of the student handbook. Please review it and dress appropriately for school. Teachers, please remember to enter warnings in skyward. Thank you!
Students, We are pleased that many of you are taking advantage of Homework Help! Moving forward, we will implement the following rules to assist you in making more effective use of the time you spend there. Thank you!
1) When you enter Homework Help, if you have a phone, you will be required to put it in a designated location and not access it until you are ready to leave.
2) Chromebooks will only be allowed if attendees seek and receive the supervisor's permission for specific school assignments that require chromebook access. Homework help is offered on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:15-4:15 in the library.
Students are reminded that cell phones are not allowed in the locker rooms or any of the restrooms. Phones can be confiscated if seen by a teacher. Thank you for your cooperation.
