CmPS is collecting leftover school supplies that students no longer want for use in classrooms next year. You can put any unwanted supplies in the two boxes near the office. One is for paper, folders, etc., and the other is for writing utensils and such. Thank you for your help in cleaning out your lockers and reducing waste!
Any 8th-11th grade girl interested in playing golf this fall please come to the meeting today during advisory in the commons.

Students are reminded to check the lost and found if you are missing anything. All items will be donated after school gets out for the summer. Also be sure to remove all items from your lockers before leaving for the summer!
A ceremony recognizing students for the successful completion of 8th grade will be held on Thursday, May 25th at 7:00 in the jr-sr high school gymnasium. Many academic and leadership awards will be announced at this event. Students are asked to dress nicely in school appropriate attire for the event. Families and friends are welcome and encouraged to attend! Following the recognition event, there will be a parent sponsored celebration in the upstairs event space at 1st and 3rd downtown on the square. Parents, please see the announcement below for information on helping with this celebration.

Girls' season is in the Fall and Boys' season is in the Winter. If anyone is interested in joining the Dolphins summer team, practices begin May 22. More information is available at the Pool
Attention incoming 6th-7th-8th graders! Police And Children Together:
Looking for something to do between June 26th to June 29th at no cost to you? Would you like to hang out with a few Menard County Deputies and other agency officers? Grab an application from the Office and turn back into Deputy Wooldridge! We will spend a few warm summer days having outdoor fun like fishing and swimming, getting to know other students from around the county, and meeting local departments and other agencies! Transportation and food provided. Find Deputy Wooldridge or call the Menard County Sheriff's Office at 217-632-2273 for any further questions!
Shambolee Summer Golf Clinic will be once per week in July and is open to boys and girls entering 1st through 12th grades. Checks can be made payable to Shambolee Junior Golf. Any questions please contact Neil Gurnsey at 217-415-2828. Forms are available in the jr-sr high office.

Detentions this week will be with Mrs. McWhorter in room 133 until 4pm and will be offered at half price (20 minutes per detention). Detentions must be served before you will be able to take your exams.
