The deadline for signing up for the Trip to Six Flags is Friday, 5-21-21.
There are currently seven seats left on the bus, so if you'd like to go, sign up ASAP!
If you are going to Six Flags please be aware that paper currency is NOT accepted in the park. You can pay for purchases with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a debit card. You can convert cash to a pre-paid Visa debit card within the park.
Class Night is Wednesday, 5-19-21 in the gym. Seniors should begin lining up alphabetically in the band hallway beginning at 6:45 in casual dress attire. NO CAPS AND GOWNS!
Baccalaureate will be held in the auditorium on Sunday, 5-23-21 at 7:00. Seniors should line up in the commons 2 x 2 at 6:45 in your CAPS and GOWNS.
Cap and Gown pics will be taken on Monday, May 24, 2021, from
9:00a.m.-1:00 p.m. on the High School Stage. No appointments are needed. Just show up with your cap and gown. THIS IS A REQUIREMENT FOR TOP TEN SENIORS!

PORTA Track Boys and girls participated in a 4 team meet at Williamsville yesterday. Boys were 2nd and the girls took first overall as a team! Individual event winners were as follows:
Boys: Haven Gronewold - 1600 and 3200 runs, Parker Fox - High Jump, 4x800 Relay - Trueblood, Mathis, Peterson, Fox. Girls: Emma Baker - 800 Run, Hannah Schafer - 1600 and 3200 Runs, Lauren Harrison - 300 Hurdles, Alexis Hamblin - Triple Jump, 4x100 Relay - Hamblin, Sauseman, Vanderwerf, Mauer, 4x400 Relay - Vanderwerf, Harrison, Baker, Dikmans
4x800 Relay - Schafer, Simmons, Baker, Harrison. Saturday 15th (tomorrow) is the last home meet of the season and Senior Day. Field events start at 9:00am and Running at 10:00am. Come out and support your Bluejay runners, jumpers and throwers!
Seniors don't forget about "Food and Flick on the Field" tomorrow night starting at 7:00 pm on the football field. Bring your bug spray, lawn chairs or blankets, eat some pizza and watch a movie with your classmates! If it is raining or the chances of rain are high, the event will be moved to the auditorium.
The last day of school is just around the corner and all lunch account balances need to be paid. Even though all breakfast and lunches have been and still are free for all students 18 and younger the extra milk cost is $.40 and water bottles are $1.25 and that adds up quickly. You can access your lunch account balance on skyward, talk to Mrs. Sinclair in the lunchroom or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you!
There will be an FFA Meeting Monday, May 17th in the Ag Room during Advisory for current 8th-11th graders interested in FFA next year. You can come down and hear how to become part of the FFA and learn about all that we do. Snacks provided.

If you've made your prom reservation and are interested in joining the corn hole tournament that night, teams can sign up with Mrs. Turek during A & B lunches on any Tue. or Thur. Teams are made up of 2 people and don't forget to come up with a team name!
Prom waivers need to be turned in before May 22nd! Turn in at the HS office or give to Mrs. Turek.
Attention All Students! Yearbook needs your help! This year has been challenging for our yearbook staff and we haven't been able to get the same picture opportunities as we have in the past. WE NEED PICTURES! Please submit any pictures that you would like to have included in the yearbook this year (school appropriate) and you will get credit for the photo in the caption. You can submit images directly by email to Alexis Jockisch and we have posted flyers outside each classroom with other methods. The student that submits the most pictures (that are used) will receive a free yearbook!
Seniors: If you are not planning on completing the FAFSA, a Non-Participation form can be picked up in the high school office. Please fill it out and return it to Mrs. Taylor.

The Dancing Jays are looking for athletes who are currently in grades 8-11 to join their team for the 2021-2022 football & basketball seasons.
